E-book lending service

Starting November 30th, patrons will have access to the WILBOR online library lending service.
Ongoing E-Reader Learning from Sep 22, 2012 10:00 AM to Sep 29, 2017 12:00 PM
Free workshops on e-readers. We had one on September 22 and September 29. The library has a Nook Color, a Kindle Fire, and an iPad2 available for you to learn about, plus some books and games downloaded on them for your use in the library. If you'd like to learn more about these devices, or have one that you're not quite familiar with yet, call Kate at the library to schedule some time to see what these e-readers can do.
E-readers & E-books
Our library is part of a grant received through Warren County Philanthropic Partnership to buy a Nook Color, a Kindle Fire, and an iPad2. The purpose of this grant is for small rural libraries to have the chance to introduce patrons to these e-reader devices and to promote the use of ebooks. On Saturday, September 22 & 29, from 10-Noon, Lacona Library is holding free workshops for community members to come and learn how e-readers work and to compare the three devices. Also, members who already have e-readers are invited to come and share their experiences and knowledge of the devices.
Learn to use an eDevice from Jan 05, 2013 10:30 AM to Dec 31, 2017 12:00 AM Lacona Public Library,
Free, monthly workshops for learning to use your Nook Color, Kindle, Kindle Fire, and iPad ereaders, starting January.
