Ongoing E-Reader Learning

Free workshops on e-readers. We had one on September 22 and September 29. The library has a Nook Color, a Kindle Fire, and an iPad2 available for you to learn about, plus some books and games downloaded on them for your use in the library. If you'd like to learn more about these devices, or have one that you're not quite familiar with yet, call Kate at the library to schedule some time to see what these e-readers can do.

The library received a grant for these devices to have at the library for people to learn on and to use.  We will be happy to help you get started on an e-reader, or answer what questions we can.  They will be especially handy in months to come when the library adds the e-book lending service this winter.  E-readers are just another way to read books -- they'll never replace the print versions, but they do have some nice features once you get to know them.
