Lacona Public Library

Lacona Public Library is a one-room library in a very small town in rural Iowa. We are open 20 hours a week to serve the 360+ citizens of Lacona and the surrounding area. We have books, movies, magazines, audio books, games, a book discussion group, and children's activities. Our Friends of the Library group is active with fundraising, book sales, and volunteering at the library. We have much to offer besides books. We have four computers for patron use and a small computer for children. We also offer the book/audio book lending program called WILBOR. We have a new library director, Sarah Hunkele, and new hours. We have a lot going on in our little place -- better come check us out!
