For Adults

Programs and services especially for adults.

Book Discussion Group -- Meets every third Monday of the month at 6:30 P.M.   Call the Library for information.   All adult readers welcome!

Four computers (with free wi-fi internet access) available for public's use.  Sign in at the library desk before you log on.   If you're interested in learning how to email or use the internet, ask for help at the library desk.

Inter-library loan is a service from the state library where libraries can request to borrow books that they don't have from other libraries that do have them.  It's a great way to have access to many more books than our little library could possibly contain!

Audio books -- for commuters, or folks who just enjoy listening to books, we have a collection of books on CD that can be checked out just like print books and enjoyed.  Makes those driving miles go by more pleasantly!  Nice to sit back at home and rest your eyes while hearing a trained narrator read to you!

Large print books -- we have a collection of our own books that are in large print, plus a rotating shelf of them that are sent each month from the Decorah library.  Anybody can borrow them!

Movies -- current and classic, with a nice variety of themes.  A few documentaries, also.  Re-view a movie you always liked or intended to see, watch something new to you, check out a children's movie to watch with your child/grandchild.  Get a group of adults together and reserve the community room at the library to watch it on our large screen!
