Use a Computer

The library has four public computers with Internet access. This describes what we have and how to use them.
  • There are four computers available to the public.  All are wired in to the printer at the main library desk.  Cost of printing is posted at the main desk.
  • The public computers are located in the center aisle of the Library.
  • Windows XP is loaded on the computers.
  • There is a one hour time limit per person unless no one is waiting.  Additional time may be requested and the staff will approve it when possible.  Patrons will sign in and out on the computer signup sheet at the main desk.  Users will comply with our library Internet Policy, posted at each work station.
  • Our computers do not have filtering of any kind. In our Internet Policy, it states what sites we do and don't allow on our computers.
  • Children under the age of 6 years are not allowed on the computers unless parent/guardian is present.  All minors (persons under age 14) must have a signed (parent/guardian) permission slip on file at the Library before being allowed to use a computer.
